A Quick Valentine's Card

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I have two cards and a quick tutoail to share today.  The first card is a quick Valentine's card using Tim Holt December calender embossing folder.

To make this card I cut a piece of chip board and attached to the back of the embossing folder like this.

I put a piece of card stock in the folder and ran it through the big shot to get this

With this technique I (you) can use this folder all year round. Cool right!

The second card wasn't mine.  My 3 1/2 years old daughter made this card for her friend. She made this card all by herself even the quilling.  She has two friends who are a bit older than her so she made two of these cards for them.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a romantic Monday!

Helen

Hi Helen, Faye's card is unbelievable for a 3 yr. old! Give her a bit more lessons and she'll be a full fledged card designer!!! She's really good for her age Helen. I like the idea of being able to use that embossing folder for whatever month you need. Thanks for the idea and the very pretty Valentines Day card!
