Blue Box

Hello Blogger Friends!

Today I have another box to share.
This box was inspired from Paper Trey Ink.  It is similar to the pink box that I posted early this week except the lid is different.  For this one I attached the lid to the back of the box and used Velcro for the closure.  I decorated with my handmade crochet flowers.  I bought the flourish die cut  from the Scrap book Convention that I went this past July.  The other leave was Spellbinder from Joann Fabric online.

I think the pattern paper (the Luxury Stack)  is pretty enough so I didn't decorated the rest of the box.  Sometime less is more.   This is another big box.  It measure 6 inch wide x 4 1/2 inch tall x 3 inch depth.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Pink Box For Cards

Hello Blogger Friends!

I'm sharing a very simple pink box today.

The box measure 6" wide x 3" depth x 4 1/2" tall. It's a pretty large box.  I made the box using 8 1/2 x 11 card stocks from Paper Trey Ink.  PTI card stocks are 110 lbs.  They are perfect for this kind of craft.    I had a few of the random cards that I had made and had shared in previous  posts.

CAS Punch Arts

Hello Blogger Friends!

I am always amazed by those who created characters from punches.  Here are a few punch arts that I made following the instructions between Youtube and SCS.

So now I had to find something to use them on.  Until next time......

Have a wonderful weekend!

Simple Quill Flowers Photo Frames

Hello Blogger Friends!
I hope I don't bore you with my altered photo frames.  I couldn't help it.  I just love them.

For the first two frames I covered them with shimmery card stock from Core Destination. Trim and sand the edges once they were dried. Then I painted white acrylic paint on the back.

These were the usual unfinished wooden frame that I bought from Micheal's art and craft store.
The inspiration was from here.

Kids 3 D wooden Puzzles

Hello,
I don't have any of my craft to share today.  However, I thought I will share some of my sons 3 D wooden puzzles.

My two sons love to build and when I saw these wooden puzzles at Michaels' on the clearance rack I was so excited.

These puzzles are quite big..They measure more than 12 inches tall and the long one measure more than 12 inches wide like the Windsor Castle.

There were no written instruction for these puzzles.  They had to look at the picture of the model and assembled the model.  They assembled them so quickly except the leaning tower.   My older son gave up after about an hour because the pieces kept on falling off.  Then I suggested to my younger son to assemble just one layer at a time then paint it with Modge Pod and wait until the Modge Pod dry then assemble the next layer.  It work!  It took him about 6 hours total to complete the Leaning Tower.

After the Leaning tower my younger son didn't feel like assembling the Windsor Castle  so my older took over.  These are their most recent wooden 3 D puzzles.  They had assemble many in the past.  Their room are full of 3 D puzzles.

String Art Altered Tin Cans

Hello Bloggers!

I love to alter boxes and tin cans. Over last weekend I used a few of the half finished string art to alter a few tin cans.  And since I already had those string arts, I finished these tins cans in no time.  I decided to make a matching Spring card for each tin can.  The tutorial for the spring card is here.

Aren't these gorgeous.  I really enjoying doing string art and that was all I did now.
