Lots Of Crochet Hearts and Flowers

Hello,

I forgot to share these.  I made these for Katie at Katie sew 4 Fun.   These crochet hearts and crochet flowers added nice finished to the doll clothes.

100 hearts, crochet heart pattern here.  The pattern had three rounds but I did mine only 2 rounds.

140 crochet flowers
It was a lot of hearts and flowers to crochet so I set a goal by making 10 hearts and 10 flowers a day.  I took my crochet thread and needle everywhere with me.  One time I was sitting in the traffic for 2 hours; it's normally take only 20 minutes.  Victor was driving so I took out the thread and needle and started to crochet. I met my goal that day.

Happy crocheting!

Crochet Hairbands and Crochet ID Badges

Hello,

Is it May already? oh, my! I am still crocheting everyday.  Today I am sharing my new favorite crochet flowers.  I did one simple stitch to the flower and it gave a hold new look. Love the pink and green.

Crochet hairbands, the pink one was inspired from here.
Crochet ID badges.  See the beaded flower center, those were the beaded flowers that I made sometime ago.  I love how they go so well as the flower center.
As always thanks for stopping by!

Hexagon Crochet Flower

Hello,

These are the  last batch of my May crochet marathon.

I saw a really nice purse made from these hexagons here and I immediately wanted one.  I crocheted all the pieces that needed for the purse except 4 squares.  I stared to join the hexagons and I didn't like it then found out that my white border was wrong.  She changed the white border from double crochet stitch to single crochet stitch.  See my photo above  I had to redo half of them.

this is what it should look like

So there goes my second crochet purse waiting to be finished.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lots and lots of Crochet Flowers, Oh My!

Hello Blogger Friends!

Look at what I had been doing for the month of May.

During the second week of May Joann online had the crochet threads on sale for 25% off.  I thought it was not bad. So I bought this first box.   There were 15 balls total.

I haven't receive my first order yet and the crochet threads went on sale again the following week. This time they were 50% off.  How can I resist such a sale!  So I ordered  more crochet threads. I didn't even know how many balls I ordered.  See the tiny balls in the plastic bag, I didn't know they were that tiny. They were the size of a goal ball and the thread sizes were much finer too.
After receiving the two orders, I realized I didn't order any neutral colors so here they are my third order.
I believe there were 15 balls in there.  I thought I order some green for the size #3 thread but I didn't. Oh, well.  May be I'll place another order. lol

I had been making large crochet roses.  These roses are about 3 inches big.  I turned them into brooches.
Crochet flower utorial here.

I believe the roses in the pictures below are called the cabbage roses.  Correct me if I'm wrong.  I love them! I will be making more of these.  I couldn't help it! I just love them!

The following crochet flowers are smaller.  I used them to embellish cards and boxes.  I am going to make them into hair accessories also.
These gold flowers were the hardest to crochet.  The thread kept tangling.  I am glad I bought only 1 ball.

These purple flowers were made using the DMC thread. The tiny golf ball size. The flowers looked big here but they were only about 1 inch.
I was trying to make sunflowers.

Testing the pink shade thread.   Tutorial

These white scallops are about 2 inches.

I have more to share but I thought I will keep it for another post.

Thank you so much for looking.

Lots of Crochet Roses

Good Morning Blogger Friends!

Look at what I had been making!  I love crochet roses and I had been trying to look for the pattern that is easy and yet pretty.  And I found it! You can fine the tutorial  here. I am using size 10 crochet thread but the roses came out to different sizes because I used different size crochet needles.

I am working on the purple flowers now.

Lots Of Crochet Flowers

Good Morning,
Here are all my crochet flowers.  Can you believe I wanted to make some more? I was thinking of making some more blue and burgundy but I think I have enough for now.Time to move on to something else.

These are the styles that I had made.  I didn't have the pattern for them. My favorite one is the biggest flower with three layers.

You can fine the tutorial for this one here.

I stored them in zip log bags.  It took less space than jars or boxes in the draw.  Plus, zip log bags are cheap!

Now I have to think of ways to use them.
Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend!
