Hello Bloggers,
This is a really quick and simple card and I like it very much.

The ribbon was from BBCraft.  The pattern paper was from DCVW La Cream pack and the rosette was made by me.

I am putting the paper bow tutorial together and hopefully will be done by this Friday.

This card was inspired from a card I saw on SCS.  I changed the stamp image to Inspired by Nature from Stampin' Up! 

I was thinking of masculine card and I think this fit it.

Quill Butterflies

Hello,

I had a hard time making these kind of quilling butterflies at first.  But I was determined  to learn and then they were not so hard any  more because...... look at the butterflies that I've made.

I made more than these.  I used some of them on my cards.

Final Press Cake Boxes

I really enjoyed making these Stampin' Up! cake boxes. I used Core Destination card stocks from Joann Fabric. The papers are shimmery and made such elegant cake boxes.  I made two sets of cake box.  I was planting to give them for raffle at the craft show but I think I am going to keep one set.

I made the top of the cake the same.

and here is  the individual cake box. I love those strips. they made the cake slices look so real!

Here is the side of one of the cake boxes.  I made this set first.  The scallop icing were made using circle scallop nestabillities.

Here is the side view of the second cake boxes. I love this one!

Aren't the bows and the pearls so elegant.  Here is the bow tutorial.  This is the set I am keeping.

Quill Monogram "H"

Hello Bloggers!

I had wanted to do this quill monogram "H" for quite sometime but I just wasn't ready.  It looked hard then I got bored with my card making and didn't want to do anything else so I thought it was time to try the letter.

I drew the "H" on grid paper then cut it out and traced it on the white card stock.  It's a little slanted.  You can find the tutorial here. My "H" was big.  It's 8 1/2" x 11". I got the frame from Big Lot.


My daughter wanted a pink one.  I wasn't too happy with the result.  I was trying to make the letter to fix in the box.

I was so happy I stumbled upon a blog recently that had a tutorial on making a square shadow box.  I played around a bit and  I made my shadow box 5 inches x 8 inches.  I'm hoping to share the tutorial soon.

Black Just Believe Silhouette

Hello,

I am still making  postage friendly card.  The image I used was from Stampin' Up! called Just Believe. It is very hard to see.  I sponged clouds behind the image.

I couldn't help but added the ribbon. 

Here is another one with no pop up embellishment.  I added die cut buttons.

Both cards are inspired from Split Coast Stampers.

Trellis Cards

Hello Bloggers!

I saw this card on Youtube and love it.  Then I also found a blog that had a flower tutorial that I couldn't resist.  I put the two tutorials together and made these cards.

For this card I used the Spellbinder die cut to cut the center out.  It was such a hazel trying to line the die cut on top of the two card stock.  

So for these two cards I just hand cut the rectangle shape out.   It was much easier. These two cards are much bigger than the first card.  These two cards measure 5 inches x 7 inches.  The first one is an A2 card.
