Altered Wooden Boxes

 Hello Bloggers!

Can you believe it is March already!
I bought these boxes  last year from Micheal's.  I painted them with acrylic paint and then I was thinking of decorated the boxes after the paint dried.  I played around with it but I didn't like the plain looking boxes so I covered them with pattern paper before I decorated them.

This is my first one.  I decorated  all the boxes both sides the same.

I made these quick and simple tags for the boxes.

All flowers were handmade by me.  For one of the flowers on the last box you can fine the tutorial here.

Fun challenges:

4 Crafty Chicks - anything but a card

DelightfulSketches - Spring colours

Thanks for visiting!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Very pretty, Helen! I especially love the green with white polka dots box. I know you love quilling, so if you get a chance stop by Clare Buswell's blog and see this layered flower she created.

Helen, Helen, Helen...the papers are gorgeous...the flowers are gorgeous...the colors are gorgeous! :) My favorite is the orange, but they are all wonderful. Question: What are the dimensions of the box? Would they fit a 4.25X5 inch card set? You know why I am asking. :)
