I Am Still Here

Hello Lovely Bloggers Friends,

I am back from my short MIA.  We just got back from Florida AGAIN.  This time we went all the way to the Bahamas.   My brother in law always told us how much fun it was going on a cruise ship.  So we decided to give it a try.  He spread the words and he booked the tickets.  We had a group of 21 people going on the Carnival Fascination, 11 adults and 10 children.  We drove 3 mini vans down to Jax port terminal in Jacksonville.

If you had been on the cruise ship, skip this next part and enjoy your day. If you haven't been on to the cruise, may be this is something to think about.

We were on a 5 days 5 nights cruise from August 19 - August 24. We stopped at Nassau one day and Little Stirrup Cay one day.  The rest of the time were spending on the ship.  The children had fun and the adults got to relax, chat our days away and for once we did not have to worry about cooking and cleaning or even where the children were accept at Nassau.   The crews are always pleasant and friendly.  Buffets were made available for us from 6 AM to 1:30 AM.  Ice cream and beverages are available 24 hours.  Oh, My!

Here are some pictures from our vacation.

It was fun went down that slid.

Our first stop, Nassau.  We went to check out the Atlantis Paradise Island.  It was so pretty!

Little Stirrup Cay was our second stop.
The island is very small.  The length 1.5 miles; the width is less than 200 yards.

At first we didn't want to go on the cruise but I made the decision and everyone love the cruise.  We are looking forward to our next cruise.  I found out that the last minutes deal are amazing. And the two newest ships, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Sunshine, look so inviting.

That is it for today.  I will resume to regular craft posting next week.

Have a wonderful the rest of the week.

Hello,

I made a few more sandals for the American Girl doll.

This time I used the free sample floor tile from the Home Depot.  If you are interested, they look like this.

You Card Set

Hello,

Here is another set using the stamp from Flourish Stamp and premade flowers.  They are super quick cards to make but I love the way the cards turned out.

Just Because Card Set

Hello,

I normally don't buy premade flowers unless they are super cheap.  I spotted these flowers on clearance at Joann Fabric a few years ago.  I just got around to use them.

These cards are super fast to make and the result is just so pretty.  I just love those big print words.  They  were from Flourishes stamps.
