Black & Red Matchbox Dresser

I'm sharing another dresser.   I made this a while ago.  The draws were made using stampin' up matchbox.

La Cream Matchboxes Dresser

Good Morning,
 I just love this matchbox die that I got from Stampin' Up!. It is so versatile.

I really like how this dresser  turned out.   I used 9 matchboxes for this one.  I then cut small strips of pattern paper from DCVW called La Cream.  Love that pattern paper pack!  I don't have any fancy brad so I quilled a tight coil  and painted shimmer paint on them and used them as  the draw nobs.  For the stands I used small cut out shaped wood that I bought from Michael. I stained the wood using black ink then glued at the bottom.

For the upper part of the dresser, I used chip board from the $1 bin from Michael.  I love that chip board shape but couldn't fine them any more.  I cut the magnet mirror for the center.  It took me awhile to think of what kind of flowers to use for the embellishments.  Then I tried the quilling roses and love it!  I painted the roses with shimmery paint. 

This  one is one of my 3 D matchbox  favorite.  I can see myself making a few more in different colors.

Match boxes and Quilling Jewelry

A little creations for Barbara

Last month I made these to send to Barbara at Barbara's World of Whimcees

The flowers were made from the cuttlebug quilling die cut.  The matchbox hold a pair of earring and the purse hold a matching necklace.

Tall Chest

Good Morning,

I was hesitated to share this tall chest.  I finished this chest a few days ago, but I wasn't happy with the size decorations so I  was debating should I share.  After some thought I decided to share since I've spent quite some time on it.  So here she is.
This is the front.

 Here is the size decorations that I was talking about.  I decorated both sizes like this. It looks a little awkward to me because the flowers are a little too big and the stems are too small.

 Here is the back.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to decorate the back.  Then my son, Ray, he suggested that I should. So I made the same flowers like the front except I didn't add the scroll on the back draw flowers.

 The draw measure 3 x 3.  It is a matchbox design.  The papers  are DCWV, premium stacks. I used  coaster for the top and bottom.

More Matchbox

Hello again,

I saw the matchbox project here. Barbara matchboxes were so cute that I stopped everything and went to my corner and cased her matchbox. Aren't they cute?
I love Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. I used the "Yummy" set from this year Sale-A-Bration. I Punched a few flowers from Whisper white card stock and sponged the edges with Baja Breez. Then I crumble up the flowers. Using the small glue dots and glued them on top of the box.


The boxes were empty because the children ate all the chocolates. So now I have to find something else to fill them.

Matchbox

Good morning,
I saw these matchbox all over the web. Finally, I got around to make them. It took me sometime to make them since I don't have the dies. After some measurement I got them exactly the same size as the SU matchbox 2 x 2 3/4 x 3/4.
My son, Jay, saw it. He likes it and asked me to make one for him except he wanted it bigger (See the challenge he gave me!):) He want to use the matchbox to store his chores money. And here is his matchbox measured 1 x 2 3/4 x 4.
