Quilled Wedding cake card

Good Morning,

When I first saw the original card from here a few months ago, oh, I wanted to make one so badly.  I tried, and  tried,  then I stopped.  Finally, I decided to give it another tried.  I think I got it.  The quilled flowers were so small.  They were smaller than a penny.

I am giving this card to a couple who is getting married this April.  Although, I am a little hesitated because you see the cake texture?  It's poinsettia and the wedding is in April.  Those two don't go together.  What do you think.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words. I really appreciated you taking the time to leave me a comment.

Hi, Helen,

I am so glad that you tried again to make the quilled wedding cake card because you certainly succeeded. It is just beautiful. I noticed the textured card stock and was thinking how pretty it was before I read your comment. I didn't notice it was poinsettias and I am sure that the happy couple won't either. They will be thrilled to receive such a lovely card and I am sure it will be a treasured addition to their wedding keepsake box.

This is a gorgeous card! Love those quilling you did! I think the embossing is great! I don't think there is anything wrong with being the poinsettia.

Beautiful card! I never noticed the embossed flowers were poinsettias until you pointed it out.

Hi Helen, I do not think the couple will even realize the flowers are poinsettias. The cake is beautiful with the embossing. I say if you can part with it, give it to them. :)

This turned out really cute!

Great quilling... & the poinsettia looks a little like a daisy!
