Hello Everyone,
What did you get when you put "Echoes of Kindness and God's Beauty" together? I guess these two cards and more. I love these two stamp sets. The flowers were from Echoes of Kindness and the butterfly was from God's Beauty. Too bad both sets were retired. But I will be sharing a few more cards using these sets.
I saw this card on SCS under a different stamp set. I changed the card a little to make it my card and cut out the flowers for 3 D affect. I changed the color also. I like it how it turns out.

Then I added the sentiment and it was crocked so I had to punch out the sentiment to cover the mistake. I don't have craft color ink or Bashful Blue so I used Basic Black second generation. For those who are new to stamping, Basic Black second generation stamping means I inked with Basic Black ink then stamped once on scrap paper. Then I stamped the second time for my sentiment. With the sentiment at the top, the card looked out of balance. I am not happy with the finished card.
Therefore, I had to make another one. Again, I changed the accessories a little. I added the polka dot embossing folder and took out the three gems at the bottom and added ribbon instead. I decided to add the sentiment at the bottom. I really like this one.
Card stocks: Whisper White, Craft, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue
Ink: Orchard Opulence, Tangerine Tango (retired), Summer Sun, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black
I am so glad you stopped by today. Have a wonderful day!
Helen

Both cards are beautiful but I do like the second one better.

Wishing you a great week!

Hi Helen,
I like the balance of the second card, but also of the very first one at the top (without the sentiment). I love your designs, and those butterflies are gorgeous. Helen, I need a favor. If you get a chance to go to my moxie fab taintor-tude post (again) and help me out with the last comment? Thanks in advance if you can...
