Tree in a box

Hello,

When I first saw the magic box here.  I just love it and wanted to make one.  Here is my version.

Inside of the box.  After I cut out my Christmas tree, I ran it through the big shot again using the petal a plenty folder to give the tree some texture.

Box lid.  See the scallop square! I didn't own the scallop square dies YET. I am still thinking if I should get it.

Here is how I made it.  Punch a strip of scallop using scallop edge punch.  Use that scallop edge strip and trace around a piece of square paper.  Make sure to line up the scallop at the corner.

This is what it should look like if you can see it.  Sorry for the blur but you get the idea.

Use the scallop edge punch and punch along the traced line and you get this.  It took some time to make this, but with this technique you can make any size.
Check back tomorrow.  I will show you how to make those mini presents on the lid.

Thank you for visiting me today.  Have a lovely day!
