Lovely As A Tree TopNote Box

Hello,

Here is another version of top note box.  I used the tree image from Stamping Up called Lovely As A Tree.  It was a large stamp but I only colored in one tree to use on the box.

Box tutorial HERE.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Crochet Rib Stitch Scarf

Hello,

I have been making scarfs and this is one of them.  Doesn't this look like knitting? It is not knitting.  It's crocheting.  You can find the tutorial here

"JOY" TopNote Box

Hello Blogger Friends!

You knew I love to make boxes.  Today is another topnote box.

I like how this first box turned out, although, I don't like the small bow.   I like the "joy" with the green layer, however, that took me extra time so I made this instead.
I stamped "joy" directly on the top note and that really speed thing out.  I am going to ignore the not so good stamped "joy."  I also like the bigger bow better.

By cutting off one side of the top note, I can cut 5 top note shapes out off 8 1/2 x 11 paper compare to the first one I can only cut 4 shapes out off 8 1/2 x 11 card stock.

White card stock was from Paper Trey Ink.  Love their 110 lb. thickness card stock!

Have a wonderful Monday!

Peanut Chews Reindeer

Hello,

I still have some more peanut chews left.  I decided to make some reindeer with my daughter help again.  She helped me glued the eyes and glittered the noses.  I saw these ideas on Pinterest.  Don't you just love pinterest!

For these reindeer I used the same measurement as the snowmen.  For the antler I used the Martha Stewart leave punch.  The noses were made using 3/4 inch punch and a half a circle inch punch.  I added dimensional under the red circle.  They would look much better with a scarf.

Wishing everyone who celebrate Thanksgiving a wonderful time! and everyone else a marvelous week!

Quilling Cranberries Note Card

Hello,

Sharing a quilling berry card.  Sorry for the poor photo quality.

I never know what cranberry plant look like and I was really happy to fine the quilling cranberry on google.

I did the craziest thing.  I signed up for 2 craft shows December 6 and 7. It wasn't my intention but thing happened and I will just have to go with the flow.  In the past I didn't even do 2 shows in the same month and now I'm having 2 shows two days in a row.  So this mean I have to make tons of things for the 2 shows and I will be absent from my blog and from checking out your wonderful blogs.

Until then ...

Peanut Chews Snowmen

Hell Bloggers!

I am back for a quick post.  On Wednesday we had our first snow.  It wasn't enough to build snowman so my daughter and I sat down and build these instead.

My husband's friend gave us a big bag of peanut chews.  I love them but I can eat them all so I dressed them up into snowmen.  I saw these snowmen on google search.  The finished snowmen measured 3/8 x 1 x 3 inches.  For the eyes and buttons I used the regular 1/4 hole punch.  The noses were made from a small heart shape cutting into half.

For the snowmen wraps it was 3 x 3 inches score at 1/4, 5/8, 1 5/8, 2  fold on all score lines and apply adhesive on the 1/4 inch flap.

The hat was made using 1 inch punch and tap punch from Stampin' Up.  Color in the cheek with Q-tip  and draw up a mouth  and finished it off with 1/8 ribbon and you are done!

Have a wonderful weekend!
