Hello,
I tried to make these lollipop fabric flowers before but they didn't turn out good because I hand cut the circle. So I finally bought the Sizzix circle #2 and made these.
Tutorial can be found here. I used the tea light candle to heat the edge of the circles instead of the lighter.
I am entering this to the following:
Make it Monday.
Papersundaes - Circle
Craft Your Days Away - Anything Goes
Send A Smile 4 Kids - Anything goes
Thanks for visiting.
Helen
These flowers are out of this world... these are my fave flowers out of all the ones you have made. I like the imperfect look. Makes them look great. And I love the distressed effect on them.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year with lots of love,
Monica
Hi Helen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments... sure feels good to be back in blogland. You all are such an important part of my life now that I miss not keeping in touch with you.
Regarding the cold in India - since it is a huge country it has diverse weather conditions. The Northern part is generally very cold in winter with snow in the Himalayas. The capital New Delhi is in the North so it gets quite cold. But this winter seems to be the coldest ever.
Hugs,
M
Love your flowers. Thanks for sharing this with us at CYDA.xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat flowers Helen. Love the shiny look to the fabric. I never would have thought of using a tea light for the edges.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful flowers! You are so brave to use flames to do the edges of the flower. Not something for.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty flowers, so uniform . Love the bling for centres .
ReplyDeleteHi Helen
ReplyDeleteOoh I love these, they looks so beautiful.
I dare not even try to make them or I risk burning the house down, lol.
Thank you for linking up to Make It Monday this week.
