Hershey Nuggets Card

Hello,

Aren't these gorgeous! You won't believe how easy it is to make them.  I saw the tutorial here.  The tutorial said to use 6 1/4 x 12 inches.   I don't like wasting the other half of the paper.  I cut my paper 6 x 12 that way I can make 2 out of 12 x 12 paper.  I used  thicker pattern paper.   It hold up really nice.

I also covered the opening with clear plastic, the plastic box that hold the dies I saved all of them.

The pretty flower was made from spellbinder flower die called Rose Collection.

I am not a yellow person but I just love this one.
I made an insert trey to holder the chocolates and this insert will also fit the tea light candles.

Measurement for the insert trey 2 1/2 x 7 inches.  Score 1/2"  all around, make 4 cuts and fold it into a box.

I haven't enter any challenges in a looooong time so I am going to enter this to:

Make It Monday - anything goes

Challeng4everybody- anything goes

Thanks for checking in with me today.

Cheep Talk Note Cards

Hello,

I had my craft show yesterday.  It wasn't my best one; however, I was satisfied.  I will try again in the fall.

I had this stamp set from Stampin' up about 4 years ago but hardly use it.  It is a two steps stamping set.  If you are new to stamping, it means you have to stamp the image that you wanted twice.

For the first card, I colored the branch with brown maker then colored the leaves with green maker.  Next I took out my home made stamp-a-magic (a must have tool for two steps stamping) and stamped the bird on the branch and the sentiment.  Saw this idea on youtube.

The second card was done the same except I added a pear. I had to stamp the pear leaves first then the pear.

Have a good one!

TopNote Gift Box And Craft Show

Hello,

First I would like to let my local friends know about my up coming craft show.  I will be at the Springfield hospital tomorrow May, 7th at the main lobby from 8 AM - 2 PM.  Your purchases will benefit The Friends of Springfield Hospital.

I made a few of the top note boxes for the show.  The flowers were made using spellbinder flower dies.  It was the easiest flower I've ever made.  The flower dies came with many different sizes so all I had to do was cut the flowers, stacked them together, spritz water and crunched them.

I added a tiny flower that I made long ago to the center on this pink one.  It turned out so nice.
Thanks for looking!

The quilt is very pretty some of the fabric are sparkle.  I didn't know there are such fabric.  My photo didn't do the quilt justice but you can tell that Faye loves it! Katie has a much better pictures on her blog HERE.

Faye knew about her quilt but she didn't know about this one.  A matching quilt and pillow for her AG doll! She was super excited.

Crochet Hairbands and Crochet ID Badges

Hello,

Is it May already? oh, my! I am still crocheting everyday.  Today I am sharing my new favorite crochet flowers.  I did one simple stitch to the flower and it gave a hold new look. Love the pink and green.

Crochet hairbands, the pink one was inspired from here.
Crochet ID badges.  See the beaded flower center, those were the beaded flowers that I made sometime ago.  I love how they go so well as the flower center.
As always thanks for stopping by!

Crochet Daisy or Sunflower?

Hello,

Last week I finally tried to crochet a daisy.  It came out looking neither a daisy nor a sunflower but I like it though.

I was thinking of making it into a brooch but thought it would look better on a card.  Now it looks kind of funny a little.  Every time I looked at it it reminded me of a bobble head (lol).

Any how have a great Monday!
