Baby Shower Favors

Hello,

I made 50 baby booties for my friend's daughter baby shower as gift.  I forgot to take the entire picture of the booties.  Here are a few of them.

After crocheted 20 of the booties I got bored of looking at them.  I even thought they were not cute any more.  So I knit them instead.  Knit booties was inspired from here.  I changed the pattern to make the booties smaller.
These booties are so small that they barely fit 4 mini Hershey's chocolate in it.

I managed to fit 4 mini Hershey's chocolate in the booties.  I had 2 pieces in the sole and 2 more wrapped in the tulle.

I didn't want to feel awkward walking into the party empty handed so I made  this set for the gift table.  A football  hat and a set of leg warmer in the color of the Philadelphia Eagle team color.

The leg warmer was my own pattern.  I will share it when I have more time.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a marvelous Monday!

Hello,

I CAS  this wedding card from Stampin' up! catalog.    This is the front of the card.  It is very simple.  I just used embossing folder and added glitter glue then finished it off with ribbon.

Here is the inside of the card.

Crochet/Knitt Baby Boy Hat and Booties Sets

Hello,

Sharing a few baby boy crochet/knit hat and boot sets.  These are very quick to do.  Each set can be finished in about an hour.  I bought a smaller knitting needle and with that I can knit much faster than the bigger needle.  I don't know why, I just like to work with smaller needle.

Crochet football hat tutorial.
Knit baby booties tutorial
On the tutorial for the knitting booties, she used 38 stitches.  I reduced to 32 stitches and size 5mm knitting needle.  I like how the booties turn out much better then the size 8mm needle and the 38 stitches.

and from the football pattern I just change the color and made this set.  Crochet baby booties tutorial.
then this set.  I like the knit booties better because  they finished evenly compare to the crochet booties they never came out even due to my crochet tension.
I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and the knitting needle size 5mm and crochet hook 3.75mm.  I like to crochet tight then after a few wash it will be loosen but it will be still wearable.

Thank you for stopping by again.

Bridal Shower Favors

Hello,

Phew! I finished and dropped them off 105 Hershey nugget purses and clutches.
Oh, my! of all the 25 white purses, I happened to pick the one with the off center pearl to take the picture for my post. Not so impressive.
Added a little tag at the back.
Inspiration of the nugget purse was from  here.

The tag didn't look good on the clutches so I added the tap in the front. The clutches were made using 2 medium tags from Tags, Scallop combo # 2 die.

Enjoy your weekend!

Black & White Crochet Flowers Altered Photo Frame

Hello,

After making the pink crochet flowers photo frame, I wanted to see how the black and white would look.

It was difficult taking  picture of the black and white color.  I always took picture with natural light and that day it was so bright that I hardly see the image in the lence.

The flowers and the leaves were made using size 10 crochet thread.

Leave tutorial can be found here.  The flowers were inspired from here and here.
