Quick Upsy Daisy Note Card

Hello Bloggers!

I used to spend hours sometime days just making one card because I didn't know what I was doing and because I had no experience in card making. I don't have that kind of  time any more. So I turned to
Split Coast Stamper for inspiration.

Here are my two quick and simple cards.

As always, I appreciated that you have stopped by today.

Quill Bamboo Cards

Hello,
I saw this quill bamboo here.  It looks pretty simple to make so I made  these two cards.

I like the first one better.  The second one is a smaller square card and it looks a bit busy.

Make it Monday

Last week I received another award from Irina at Kiddo's blog.  Irina does beautiful modular origami and her quilling creations are stunning.  Thank you Irina for this award.  I am truly flattered.

Rules are:
Share 5 things about yourself (1 of the 5 things must related to crafting)
Pass the award to 5 other blogs

I just share things about me last week so I will share how I came to have this blog.  This blog actually is my third blog.  My first blog was HelenHandmadeCraft.com didn't work out.  Then I used Typepad and that one didn't work out either.  I was very frustrated but I didn't want to give up.  Then I stumbled upon Blogspot and it said I could create a blog for FREE.  All I needed is a google account.  My email is with google so I gave it a tried and here I am two years later.  I am so happy to have this blog and more importantly are the friendship that I've  made through this blog.  Thank You!!!

Hugs,

Helen

Tulip Frame and Bliss Note Cards

Good Morning Bloggers!

I saw this card  on many blogs using the Tulip Frame embossing folder from SU and the Bliss stamp set from this pass Sale-A-Bration also from SU.  I didn't know whom to give credit to.

I didn't like the embossed center piece.

I thought it was too busy. So I made another one and leave the center piece plan.

I like this better.
Until next time.

Tulip Frame & Quilling Flower

Hello,
I saw the irsh flowers in my yard,  and wanted to make a card so I made this.
Now if I crimped the purple quilling strips before I rolled may be it will look more like the irsh flowers.

Photo Frame for the Crocketts

Good Afternoon Bloggers!

My friends/neighbors just finished remodeling their home recently and they invited us to their house.   I didn't know what to give them so I made this photo frame with their family name to give to them.  I checked to make sure I spell their  name correctly unfortunately I looked at their not working email address  and so I missed a "c" after the "o".  She didn't notice it until I mentioned.  I offered to redo the name but she thought it looks  o.k.

The frame measure 10" x 12".  The opening in the center fit a 5" x 7" photo.

Quick Father's Day Cards

Hello,
I bought the Guy paper stack last year and made these quick cards.  My favorite is the first one.  On the inside card I wrote  "save this card and you'll never be broke."
