Good Morning Bloggers!
I can't believe it is May already!
I made these necklaces using the spiral roses.
The inspiration was from HERE. I found these round wooden piece from Michaels and they were the perfect size. I drilled a small hole for the jump ring.

Home Made Papers Holder
Hello Bloggers!
Today I'd like to share a little piece of my craft area. This is my old paper shelves. I stacked four
8 1/2" x 11" plastic tray that I got from a yard sale as my papers holder. It work fine. I had been using them for a few years now but I didn't like the clutter looking. I used lots of 12 x 12 card stocks so they are sticking out.
Then I learned how to use the power drill not long ago and I built this wooden shelves. I asked my husband to help me cut the boards. That is no longer a problem; now I know how to use the table saw too. Woo, Hoo! So if I am not happy with this one, I can't just make another one. How convenient is that!
I saw a similar paper holder at one of my son's classes and I thought it was pretty simple to make. This new shelf unit is not pretty but it serves it purpose. I used boards that I found in the garage and in the basement. I did buy a 4' x 8 ' piece of board for the shelves. I measured the back panel wrong so it went horizontally but it's o.k because once the shelves and papers are in, you can't see anything back there.
Here is the finished look. I had to take the shelf on the wall off (in the 1st picture) to fit this new shelf.
I love the neat looks of my new paper holder. The total cost is about $15. I thought it was not bad at all for the 26 shelves. I made the shelves to fit 12" x 12" papers. I did realize I had that many papers and these are just card stocks. My pattern papers are all over the place.
Thanks for stopping by.

She also wanted 10 of the TopNote purses for the bridesmaids.

Until next time.

Purple and cream 3 Tiers Cake
Good Morning Bloggers!
I made this 3 tiers cake and a 2 tiers cake for AnnMarie before my blog break. It was for a bridal shower. I really love how this 3 tiers cake turned out and AnnMarie also loved it.
I made the cake stand between each layer using sewing thread spools and foam board. I didn't decorate the cake stand because once I placed it between the cake layer it just blended in.
This is the top of the cake. I used the mini roses for the top boxes because the boxes were much smaller the the middle and the bottom layer. Mini roses tutorial can be found here. The rose petals were white and I sponged Elegant Eggplant ink from Stampin' Up! all around. Then I added a pearl in the rose center. They look much better in person.
This is how the cake pieces looked.
This is the 2 tier cake. Oop! I forgot to cover the counter before I took the picture.
I am entering this to the following challenges:
PPP- Make It Monday
Sparkles forum challenges - anything goes
Ellephantastic challenges - anything but square or rectangle
shannon's sentiments storefront - anything but a card
DeliciousDoodlesChallenge - anything goes
Thanks for stopping by. Have a marvelous Monday!

La Cream Matchboxes Dresser
Good Morning,
I just love this matchbox die that I got from Stampin' Up!. It is so versatile.
I really like how this dresser turned out. I used 9 matchboxes for this one. I then cut small strips of pattern paper from DCVW called La Cream. Love that pattern paper pack! I don't have any fancy brad so I quilled a tight coil and painted shimmer paint on them and used them as the draw nobs. For the stands I used small cut out shaped wood that I bought from Michael. I stained the wood using black ink then glued at the bottom.
For the upper part of the dresser, I used chip board from the $1 bin from Michael. I love that chip board shape but couldn't fine them any more. I cut the magnet mirror for the center. It took me awhile to think of what kind of flowers to use for the embellishments. Then I tried the quilling roses and love it! I painted the roses with shimmery paint.
This one is one of my 3 D matchbox favorite. I can see myself making a few more in different colors.
