Purple and cream 3 Tiers Cake

Good Morning Bloggers!
I made this 3 tiers cake and a 2 tiers cake for AnnMarie before my blog break.  It was for a bridal shower.  I really love how this 3 tiers cake turned out and AnnMarie also loved it.

I made the cake stand between each layer using sewing thread spools and foam board.  I didn't decorate the cake stand because once I placed it between the cake layer it just blended in.

This is the top of the cake.  I used the mini roses for the top boxes because the boxes were much smaller the the middle and the bottom layer.  Mini roses tutorial can be found here. The rose petals were white and I sponged Elegant Eggplant ink from Stampin' Up! all around.  Then I added a pearl in the rose center.  They look much better in person.

This is how the cake pieces looked.

This is the 2 tier cake.  Oop! I forgot to cover the counter before I took the picture.

La Cream Matchboxes Dresser

Good Morning,
I just love this matchbox die that I got from Stampin' Up!. It is so versatile.

I really like how this dresser  turned out.   I used 9 matchboxes for this one.  I then cut small strips of pattern paper from DCVW called La Cream.  Love that pattern paper pack!  I don't have any fancy brad so I quilled a tight coil  and painted shimmer paint on them and used them as  the draw nobs.  For the stands I used small cut out shaped wood that I bought from Michael. I stained the wood using black ink then glued at the bottom.

For the upper part of the dresser, I used chip board from the $1 bin from Michael.  I love that chip board shape but couldn't fine them any more.  I cut the magnet mirror for the center.  It took me awhile to think of what kind of flowers to use for the embellishments.  Then I tried the quilling roses and love it!  I painted the roses with shimmery paint.

This  one is one of my 3 D matchbox  favorite.  I can see myself making a few more in different colors.

Altered Quilling Tin

Hello,
My friend, Pat, asked me to decorate a bigger tin can for her.  It was 7" wide.    Sorry for the poor picture quality. This was one of the times that I had trouble taking good picture.  It looks much prettier outside.

I made a simple tag to go with it.

Then I altered this smaller tin can  to go with the card that I made last time.

I hope you've enjoy today post.  Thank you for stopping by.

Roof Garden Note card

Hello,
I bought this roof garden die cut from Stampin' Up! clearance rack.  The die cut came in a tin box with different die cut but I just used this biggest die cut and added the fringe flowers from Cuttlebug quilling kit.  It was a super quick card.
Thanks for looking.

Hello,

I saw this card on the Card Maker magazine cover and love it!  I just happened to have similar supplies so I made one real quick.  The red rose was made from Tim Haltz Tattered Florals die cut.  Tutorial can be found here.   The yellow roses were Prima.

Ribbon Roses

Good Morning,
I couldn't believe it's April already! I woke up to a mixture of rain and snow then change to snow.  Mother nature sometime can be so means! Well, I am not going to let this unpleasant weather ruin my day.

Look at what I made again! Ribbon roses!

Aren't they pretty! I forgot to put a coin near the flowers to compare how small these flowers are.  Most of these flowers are 1/2 inch big.  The larger ones are almost 1" big. I used 1/4" green ribbon for the leaves.   If you are my regular blog readers, you can image how much flowers I have had. I only shared a portion of my flowers.  I am a gal who want it all so every flower that I saw I wanted them.  I made these with papers before but they are much prettier made with the ribbon.  I really need to stop doing everything else and really need to SIT DOWN and use these flowers on something.  I have a few things in mine.  I welcome any suggestion you creative ladies out there could give me.

I hope this post has brighten your day!

Until next time.  Wishing you a great weekend!
