More Special Wedding card samples

Good Morning,
I am late in posting today, but it does not matter since I do
not have any reader. These cards are very similar. I was playing around with the scenery to see which scenery is better.

This first one here I cut the cloud from circle scallop punch and just glue them on the finished sky.

The middle card here I also cut the cloud from the circle scallop punch. I mask the cloud on the card before I brayed the sky.

This one is my favorite. I like the sky without the cloud but I needed to change the palm tree color. I used Chocolate Chip ink for this card. It's too dark for palm tree. I like the color of the palm trees in the other two cards better.

Thank you for stopping by!

Sun set Top Note card

Good Friday morning!

Yesterday my Stampin' Up! order arrived and I got to play with my new stuffs. When I saw the sneak peak of the new SU catalog back in June, I knew I must have the level two Asian Artistry set. I know I could order the set during June but I didn't because I've already met my required minimum.

You were wondering what with the "Aruba" right? I am making a few wedding card samples for a friend. The bride and groom wanted sun set, palm tree, and beach because they are going to Aruba to get marry. This is one of the samples.

This is a sponge technique. I had tried many times in the past but the result were disappointed. Yesterday I tried it again and this is the card. I used Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, Basic Black, and Chocolate Chip.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shadow box card

Good morning,

Today I like to share this shadow box card. The paper that I used is the retired Urban oasis designer paper.

My shadow box card is a little bigger than others shadow box. I had some 6 x 6 DSP samplers. So instead of cut it off, I decided to use it up. My finished card measured 4 1/4 x 5.

After finished the card I realized that I didn't have any pace for the writing and I didn't want to write the message on the back so I made a small envelop to fit the back of the card. This way I can write the message on a tag and place it in the envelop.

Materials to make shadow box card:

2 - 4 1/4 x 6 score at 1/2", 1" on both end and on both pieces. Cut any shape for the front of the card and decorate any way your like. Glue the two pieces together and you are done.

Bird House

Good Morning,

Isn't this bird house cute? This is my practice one, but it turn out pretty cute so I decided to post it. The fleurettes are not from Stampin' Up! I made them and I decided to use white fleurettes only to contrast the bird house.
You would like to make one also! You can go to this blog for the template http://www.whimcees.blogspot.com/
Thank you for visiting. Keep creating!

Mini Album

Hello,

I love 3 D items. I made many mini albums. This is one of them. The first picture is the front cover of the album. The following pictures are some of the inner pages from the album. The cover measured 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. The inner pages measure 4 x 4. The album had 16 pages. This mini album is a good way to use up scrap and it made a nice gift.

I hope you enjoy today's post.
Thank you for visiting.

Dime-n-Rings

Hello,

Over the weekend I made these origami rings for a friend's dad (Hi, Tracy). He really liked these rings. He had asked me to make them a few times before and he gave them as a gift.

There are two types here. One type shows the "one dollar" and the other type it is like a box and I tuck the dime in the box. When you said it fast, it sound like a diamond ring. You could actually wear the ring. I like the one that show the "one" and I had worn it before for spare change.:)

I decided to make this card for him. Does the card look familiar? That's because it is from the current stampin' up! catalog page 130. I changed the butterfly to the bird from "Spring Song" to make it looks more masculine. I tried to cut the small flower from the "Priceless" set but I couldn't so I decided to use one of the fleurettes that I made. I hope he likes the card.

Thank you for looking.
