Five Minutes Thank You Card

Hello Blogger Friends!

I bought this embossing folder from Ac Moore last year.  I just opened the package over the weekend to make this card.  The embossing folder itself is gorgeous so I didn't need to do much.

I wanted a white ribbon but I didn't have any so I settled with purple.  I think any color would look just as good.

Thanks for stopping by!

Parchament Card

Hello,

I first saw the parchment card at Dr. Sonia's blog. I was very interested. So I gave it a try. Here is my result.

I tried with cookie sheet that had the word "Parchment" on the box  but it didn't work. I tried with Vellum and that was my result.  This was the most difficult craft that  I tried.  I think it was because I don't like to hand emboss.  You can fine free pattern here.

With Love Note Card

Hello,

A quick note card.

This is another lay out that I got from the stampin up magazine.  I made the petal pocket to hold the little note.  The pocket looks too plain so I added a little crochet heart.  This is the first time that I had so many hearts on one card.  The little flower was to cover up the ink that was smeared.  I really like Stampin' Up! Whisper Card stock but EVERY TIME  I stamped it I got ink on the area where I don't need ink.

Until next time

Hand Embrodery Hearts Altered Wooden Box

Hello,

I bought this string art template from scarp book convention several years ago.   The template came with only 3 hearts.  I had to made a new circle template to fit on this wooden box that I got from AC Moore.  Then I joined 4 hearts together to make the center piece.
As always thanks for stopping by!

Red Heart Note Card

Hello,

I haven't made a card in months.  So to get back into card making I started with a CAS card from Stampin' up! magazine.

The original card used texture card stock.  I added the cloud background from  Darice.  The tree trunk was hand cut and finished off with a heart shape button tied with twine.

60th Candle Box

Hello,

I made six of these for a lady.  It is a very simple box.  I used Core Destination cream color shimmery card stock and soft yellow.  I don't like using yellow but these two combinations with a touch of green turned out pretty nice.

You can find the mini rose tutorial on the side bar.  Box tutorial here.

Crochet Owl Fingerless Gloves

Hello,

After making the owl hat for my daughter, I thought I will give the owl fingerless gloves a try and here they are.

I don't have any black button on hand and I tried to add black beat for the eye balls but they didn't look good so I just leave the eyes plain.  I think they still look cute though.

I knit the cuffs using the double pointed needle.  There is no seam and the cuffs are super stretchy.  After I bindded off the cuffs, I followed this pattern here for the increase.

Thanks for looking.
